Alison carcieri-Cassidy

Executive director

Alison is a 4th generation East Greenwich, RI resident. After graduating from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC with her degree in social work, she received her Masters degree in Management of Human Services from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. She worked at New England Medical Center in Boston, MA and for the Rockefeller Family in New York City in human resources and employee benefits. After being a "human resources manager" at home taking care of her 4 children, Alison co-founded her own Staging & Interior re-design company. Six years later, she decided to pursue her real estate license and went to work for Coldwell Banker in East Greenwich, and currently works for Greg Dantas, principle broker of RI Real Estate Services.

Sarah daley

Sarah Daley is a Senior Strategic Partnership Manager at Kognity for their High School Science Curriculum. Cultivating and maintaining partnerships with school districts in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, Sarah leverages her Biology degree to support high-level education and best practices in teaching science. With previous experience working for Mass Audubon, Sarah developed and delivered programming for children of all ages, hosted volunteer outreach, and organized fundraising opportunities. With a passion for wildlife and environmental management, Sarah is dedicated to bringing a wealth of expertise and stewardship to the board, furthering the Academy Science Center on its mission to promote an appreciation of science and the natural world for Rhode Island residents.
